Hello, and welcome to the internet home of magician and motivational speaker, James David. James was born in Wausau, Wisconsin and after small stints living in Texas and Lake Tahoe, much of his life was spent in Southern California. He graduated from Canyon High School in Canyon Country, CA in 1994 where he played four years of high school basketball and one year of college basketball at College of the Canyons before he began his coaching career.

James moved back to Wisconsin in 1996 to finish his studies at the University of Wisconsin-Steven Point where he went on to graduate in 2001. Like many people attending college, James met his best friend and now wife, Sarah. The couple were married in 2002 and now have four wonderful/crazy boys including Ben, Jayce, Tommy, and Preston.

By nature, James is a talented basketball player and he carried over that passion to coaching basketball. James was an assistant coach for five years and also a head coach for six additional years. These days, when he’s not playing a round of golf, you can likely catch him fishing on a lake somewhere.

The foundation that helped build the philosophy that brought James to coaching was based on his belief that when you take the time to connect with someone, you can change their lives for the better. He has since evolved that coaching and teaching model and combined it with his incredible skills as a magician and now uses magic to continue that same passion for helping others. It’s an incredible niche and one that not only captures the attention of his audience, but engages and creates passion for others.
